DIY Baby Doll Carrier/Bed

             ✂ DIY Baby Bed/Carrier👶

*Please Note: I had done alittle online searching for ideas and a pattern and/or directions for a DIY baby doll carrier- I did find quite a few ideas on Pinterest for ones that were already made, as well as a couple 'patterns' which were either in another language OR Not exactly what I had in mind so I just came up with My Own quick design that I made and finished *which will be posted below, along w/a basic 'tutorial' AKA directions.
REMEMBER: This is just my 1st Practice design and I used basic materials I had on hand. I'm currently in the process of making a 2nd one which I'll be 'tweaking' a few of the steps and improving the design a bit- 🔅NEW One Will Be Posted Once Complete! Xox
✂NOTE: I Hand Sewed The Entire Thing (my sewing machine is currently in my storage as we are in between moving and finding a new apartment.)
Here is 1 of the Ideas I found online/on Pinterest-
I'll post a pic of my Notes that I took as I worked on this and add below.

1st I cut the top flaps/sides off the jumbo Luvs box. *NOTE: I used scissors initially then to even out the sides I used razor box cutter.

Took the pieces of pillow case and placed the box sides into and measured to leave enough space to sew. *NOTE: I glued the top flaps of the pillow case using E600 Industrial Strength Adhesive. The we sewed the other sides.

I layed out the sides long/short/long/short- I slid corners into each sideband sewed them together. *NOTE: I used a thicker thread and sewed once then a 2nd time w/o the another thread.

I sewed 2 together at a time then put back together to sew final corners

cutting another piece of cardboard from side of the luvs box I fit it to the sides.

used a roll of bubble wrap to create a 'soft' layer I glued with Both tacky glue and adhesive

then fitted the remaining piece of pillow case over the 'mat' part of the carrier/bed glued and sewed it on.

then I sewed the bottom *sides to mat

I put a little bit of glue between the sides and mat and tested the 'tightness' some sides felt a bit loose still so I sewed again.

this is finished bed/carrier *Before adding strap.*
